Susan Cingari with Cameraman Brent Cohen and Rolling Stone’s Ron Wood. In this interview Ron Wood spoke about John Peel for a British documentary on the legendary English disc jockey, radio presenter, record producer and journalist.
This was not the first time Susan Cingari had inteviewed the living legend. She also was on hand when he had his art exhibition “Ronnie Wood: Out of the Studio” on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Jack Gallery at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Ronnie’s paintings of musicians and the Rolling Stones in particular command high prices and yet his art is not restricted to just musical subjects. He paints animals as well as portraits of other well-known figures including the large painting of London’s ‘movers and shakers’ that adorns the wall of the capital’s Ivy Restaurant. Among those who own original Ronnie Wood artworks are former US President Bill Clinton, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jack Nicholson.
